Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 18 September 2026

Apps that access user data must provide a way for users to request that their data be deleted. This page explains how to request deletion of your Jahez data, including data associated with Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp) integrations.

1. How to Request Data Deletion

The fastest way is to delete the account yourself in the app; if you cannot sign in, email us instead. Either route below works.

  1. In the app: sign in at https://app.jaheznow.com, open your profile page, scroll to "Delete this account", and confirm. You will be asked to type DELETE and re-enter your password (or your email address, for accounts that sign in with Google). Deletion takes effect immediately.
  2. By email: write to [email protected] from the address linked to your Jahez account, with "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line, your account email, and—if known—your Meta user ID or Facebook App user ID. We verify ownership first and complete verified requests within 30 days.

2. What We Delete

After a closure becomes permanent we delete your conversations and their attachments, your product catalogue and the search data built from it, your connected channels and their stored connection tokens, your API keys, the persona and knowledge your AI agents were trained on, and the files you uploaded to our storage such as avatars, catalog images and media. We also delete your sign-in credentials, and release your email address and phone number so they can be used to open a new account. We keep your contact and order records so your business history stays complete, your invoices and billing records because tax and accounting law obliges us to, aggregate statistics that identify no individual, and limited security and fraud-prevention records. What we keep is stored on our own secured infrastructure and can be opened only by a small number of authorised administrators. Data in a workspace owned by another organisation is not deleted because one member leaves it. Records we are required to keep for tax, accounting, security or fraud prevention are not erased on request, and aggregate statistics identify no individual.

3. Processing Timeline

Closing your account from the profile page takes effect immediately — you are signed out and your workspaces stop running at once. For 30 days you can sign in again to reopen it exactly as it was. After 30 days the closure is permanent, it cannot be undone by you or by us, and the deletion described above is carried out. For requests sent by email we reply within a few business days and follow the same process within about 30 days of verifying your identity, unless the law requires longer or a legitimate exception applies.

4. Removing Jahez from Meta

You may also remove Jahez from your Facebook or Instagram Apps and Websites settings and request that Meta delete data they hold under Meta's policies. Data stored by Meta is handled according to Meta's own deletion processes. After you remove the app, we will no longer receive new data from that Meta connection.
